Courtney and Scott picked Argentina for their wedding anniversary trip. As they both love to cook, they took the class to learn how to make empanadas.

Working team of chefs

Jessica, (Sweden), Arielle, Arielle and Cara(U.S.), Gillian and Stephanie (New Zealand) agreed that learning the local authentic cooking techniques is a great way to inmerse yourself in the culture of the country you are visiting.

Celebrating la Revolución de Mayo

This week we are celebrating 201 years of the Revolución de Mayo (25 May 1810). We cooked empanadas, locro and alfajores, un menú bien criollo!

Today´s special: HUMITA

Tanja and Kristine from Denmark tried humita in Salta, an Argentine province and they wanted to learn how to make it. Humita is a very nutricious dish you prepare with fresh grated corn.Taylor and Kristen from the U.S. also loved this dish.
 Empanadas are a classic.

She does a great job of getting everyone involved while explaining the fine details of Argentine cooking. Highly recommend the class to anyone interested.
Helma (Holland): I made some of your dishes and my friends loved it. As a matter of fact, I have an empanada 'cook off' with friends at my house in January. I will make the empanada 'a la Norma'.
